Lauren has never taken part in a marathon or charity boxing match; let alone contemplated jumping

However, on behalf of The Romani Foundation – Help for Addicts, Lauren has pushed herself to her absolute limits to raise funds for us.
On the19th May 2021 Lauren completed the Manchester 10K and on the 23rd May 2021 she was accompanied by Danielle in the Manchester Half Marathon.

The 1st June 2021 saw Lauren in the boxing ring taking part in her first ever White-Collar Charity Boxing Match. This was followed by an intrepid Sky Dive on 6th June 2021.

Amount raised to date £1,775 including Gift Aid

All the above feats took weeks of training and dedication by Lauren and Danielle and we couldn’t be any more proud of their achievements and thankful for their generous donations. These funds will help raise awareness and help those struggling with addiction and the associated mental health issues of this disease of the brain.

We are delighted to be working with a major film production company to produce educational resources for schools to use to aid teaching the new RSE curriculum and to raise awareness of addiction in Schools.

The resources which will be available to download on TrueTube will include;
1 x short film (5min -8min)
3 x Downloadable Lesson Plans
3 x Downloadable Fact sheets
Series of 7 1-2 min support films( including film about the law)

Should you require any further information about the project, do not hesitate to contact us at Help for Addicts. Any donation towards the project would be greatly appreciated.
